Hi, I’m Cillian.
I’m a middle-distance freestyle swimmer from Belfast, Northern Ireland – attending Aquinas Diocesan Grammar, Class of 2027. I’m 6'1" and committed to pursuing a degree program in engineering – with a strong interest in aerospace – while competing at NCAA Division I level.
About Me
In the pool, I’m focused on long-term progression, racing with intent, and showing up consistently for training and team culture. Academically, I take my work seriously and I’m currently studying A-level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, building on strong GCSE results.
This site is a simple snapshot of my times, race history, training approach, and the kind of teammate I aim to be. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for a strong engineering program where I can contribute as a teammate, train in a high-performance environment, and keep improving year-on-year. This season I’m focused on the 400m and 800m freestyle, while also competing in the 200m freestyle, with backstroke as my main alternative stroke. I prioritise consistency, being coachable, and being someone the team can rely on – on deck, in training, and under pressure.
